Education and Information

Dental implants can be used to replace multiple missing teeth, or even an entire arch of teeth lost to periodontal disease, injury or decay. Multiple missing tooth replacement is versatile when involving implants, and can occur in the following ways:

  • Single dental implants can be placed in multiple individual sites.
  • Dental implants can be used to support anchor ends of an implant bridge, replacing two or more teeth consecutively missing.
  • All-on-4® and All-on-6® dental implant techniques replace a full arch of missing teeth in a single day, even in patients with low bone levels.
  • Implant supported dentures rely on implants posts to support highly functional and esthetic prosthetics constructed to be either fixed or removable.
  • Teeth-in-a-Day utilizes dental implants to support prostheses, allowing for placement of implants and delivery of the prosthetic all in the same day.

In some cases, replacing missing teeth with dental implants require some site preparation with bone grafting or the placement of regenerative materials.
